Home/About

We are Catholics.

We check the box; we go to Mass.

We go to confession twice a year. (Or more!)

But what does being Catholic really look like in my life? What does it mean in my workplace? In my commute? In my shopping trips? In my interactions with my communities: my family, my city, my nation, my world?

What does it mean to be intentional about your walk with God in today’s messy, complicated, busy, and oh-so-intensely concrete world? My name is Kathleen Basi. I’m a storyteller and a composer of music for the Church, and I’m ready to help you look at the intersection of your faith and the real world in a deeper way. Follow my weekly reflections on Substack, or invite me to come to your parish or faith group to share time for music, reflection, prayer, and storytelling.

We’re in this together.
